Mrs. Krystal D. Rolle (Nee Russell) is a graduate of Queen’s College High School. After completing her high school education, she obtained an Associates of Arts Degree from the College of the Bahamas in 1986. In 1990 she obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics & History after having matriculated to University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Barbados. Further to this, she obtained a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill, Barbados and thereafter obtained her Legal Education Certificate of Merit from the Norman Manley Law School in Mona Jamaica. She was called to the Bahamas Bar on 20th October, 1995.
The Legal Education Certificate of Merit (as distinct from the Legal Education Certificate) is a special honour awarded to a student who has attained an impeccable standard of excellence. When Mrs. Rolle achieved this honour in 1995 she was only the fourth student to have done so in the then 25 year history of the Norman Manley Law School and was the first and only Bahamian to have achieved this honour from the Law School.
Mrs. Rolle was employed in the Litigation Department of the law firm of McKinney Bancroft & Hughes from July, 1995 to September, 1997. She was thereafter employed in the litigation department if the law firm of Graham, Thompson & Co. from October, 1997 to January, 2003. She entered into partnership with her husband Mr. Wallace Rolle in their firm of Rolle & Rolle in January, 2003.
Mrs. Rolle specializes in the area of Civil Litigation, which includes all aspects of Civil Litigation as well as Commercial and Trust Litigation.
Mrs. Rolle frequently appears before the Privy Council, the Court of Appeal and the Supreme Court, and has been involved in numerous cases of public interest and importance.
